Inspire Motion Introduction

This class will cover the use of Altair Inspire to simulate Multi Body Dynamic solutions by teaching the participant about the import of geometry, establishment of ground bodies, defining joints and contact and creating actuators, motors and springs. Participants will then simulate the models they define and learn how to post process utilizing motion results to drive analysis and optimization solutions.

Prerequisites:

None

Goals and Objectives:

  • Locate tools and features for Inspire interface
  • Utilize basic modeling entities for MBD analysis (ground parts, joints, couplers, and plotting)
  • Employ advanced modeling entities for MBD analysis (motors, actuators, contacts, springs, and dampers)
