Course Outline:

This is introductory course to HyperMesh teaches the participants to create and set up finite element models for analysis. A combination of lectures and exercises will familiarize students to the HyperMesh environment, process, and suite of tools needed to start using HyperMesh in their work.

Prerequisites:
A basic knowledge of finite element analysis (recommended).

Goals and Objectives:

• Utilize tools to import, defeature, and refine geometry
• Identify ways to 2D mesh and solid mesh geometry
• Recognize steps for analysis setup
• Utilize HyperWorks Desktop Post Processing Interface and Post Processing with HyperView
