SimLab Electronics
Course Outline:
This course will teach how to setup and run simulations for electronics in SimLab. Topics covered will include; electronics assembly, PCB thermal management analysis and multiphysics thermal-structural analysis.
Prerequisites:
Advanced knowledge about SimLab. User will have ideally attended the SimLab Basics of Static and Dynamic Linear Analysis Course.
Goals and Objectives:
- Modeling: Hex Meshing Tools for PCB and electronics assembly Structural Analysis
- PCB Thermal management analysis (Solver: Altair ElectroFlow)
- Multiphysics Thermal-structural analysis (with Altair OptiStruct)
