Course Summary and Schedule
- This course is an introductory course to FluxMotor. It is a prerequisite for all other training modules on e-motor which uses Altair FluxMotor. Through this course, participants will discover the environment in which the program operates and the workflow for setting up and solving a model.
The course is based on an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor. Participants will learn the basic steps of analyzing the model, including electromagnetic, thermal and NVH analysis.
Post-processing the results, generating a report, exporting the model for other Altair tools and the optimization process with HyperStudy will be shown.
Prerequisite:
This course has an example. Please install the latest version of FluxMotor and HyperStudy with a valid license.
Goals and Objectives:
- Discover FluxMotor environment and interface
- Set up a model
- Define different predefined tests: open circuit, working point and performance mapping
- Learn more about Thermal management and NVH (Noise and Vibration) analysis
- Discover export functions: report, Flux model and FMU for system modelling
