Course Summary and Scheduled Seminars
Inspire Structures covers the essentials of the software's interface, focusing on generating and modifying design concepts for complex assemblies. Participants will explore structural analysis and shape optimization, gaining insights into material utilization and enhancing structural performance.
Prerequisites:
- A basic understanding of Finite Element simulation is recommended.
- Completion of the "Getting Started with Altair Inspire" course is preferred
Goals and Objectives:
- Understand how to integrate Altair Inspire into traditional design processes to create optimal designs efficiently.
- Set up and perform structural analyses using two main solvers: OptiStruct and SimSolid.
- Explore and evaluate the effects of shape changes on the output responses of a structure using Design Explorer.
- Perform shape optimization analyses using Topology, Topography, Gauge, Fastener, and Design Exploration approaches.
- Use the PolyNURBS tool to trace and create NURBS over optimized results with precision, ease, and efficiency
