Sign-up for Feko - Antenna Design and Installed Antenna Performance

This interactive course is aimed at intermediate users who are interested in applying Feko for antenna design and for the efficient analysis of the installed performance of antennas on large platforms by focusing on the following objectives: 1. Learn the effective use of the Feko interface for workflows relevant to antenna design and the analysis of installed antenna performance 2. Gain an understanding of the full-wave solvers available in Feko for antenna design 3. Gain an understanding of the high-frequency asymptotic solvers available in Feko for the analysis of installed antenna performance on larger structures

Prerequisites: Feko Introduction

Duration: The training will be given for 3 days (2 hours/day) with the topics below.

Day 1 – Antenna Design
  • MOM for Metallic Structures in Free Space
  • Exercise: Complimentary Spiral Antenna
  • Exercise: Patch Antenna

Day 2 – Antenna Performance: Coupling
  • Multi-Level Fast Multipole Method (MLFMM)
  • Exercise: Computation Resource Estimation
  • Exercise: Coupling between Whips on Ship
