Flux - Analysis of Electric Motors
In this course, the
participants will discover how to use Flux to perform different type of
advanced analysis on a selected interior permanent magnet motor.
Prerequisites:
- The user should know how to use Flux on basic level or attend Flux Introduction course beforehand.
- Basic knowledge of electric motors is highly recommended.
- It is recommended to install the latest version of Flux with valid license to follow up with the exercise.
Goals and Objectives:
- Electric motor losses (including PWM effect) and power balance analysis.
- Electromagnetic force computation and export.
- Eccentricity analysis.
- Demagnetization effect on the permanent magnet.
- Winding inductance computation.
- Winding AC losses.
- Thermal analysis in Flux.
- Extend to Skew model.
- Efficiency map computation.
